         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bath salts are a synthetic (human made) drug that is chemically related to <strong>stimulants</strong> found in the khat plant. Since this form of a cathinone is human made, it is much stronger and dangerous than the natural product.&nbsp; Bath Salts usually looks like white or brown crystal like powder and is not to be confused with Epsom salts that are used for bathing and does not have any mental effects on the body.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Baths salts are considered to have originated in Europe in the late 1920's for potential medical uses but were deemed dangerous due to harmful side effects, it soon started to become abused by people as antidepressants. Bath salts started becoming popular in the United States in 1990's under the  slang names "Cat" and "Jeff".  In 2012, two main ingredients in bath salts, MDPV  and 2C-I, became illegal leading to underground chemists to make many new variations of bath salts <br><br> Foundation For Drug-Free World.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Bath Salts can have some very dangerous effects on the user's body. Short term, bath salts can cause rapid heart and increased blood pressure. It can also cause intense panic attacks, hallucinations, and sleep-deprivation. More serious long term effects users could experience are liver and kidney failure, psychotic disillusions, and spontaneous breakdown of muscle fiber which can lead to death.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Bath salts were very relavent to teenagers before they were banned around 2012, because they were a "legal high". This was an easy and legal way for teenagers to fell high, and become addicted to drugs. <br><br>As of now, Bath salts are only slightly relavent to teenagers today, because they are easier to find than other schedule 1 and 2 drugs, such as cocaine and heroine.
