The greatest achievement that was ever brought to Greece society was Democracy. Because of it, our society today is well structured and ordered. Many of the government roles today were influenced by the Greece Democracy. The concept of a jury was modeled after the Greeks. Pottery shows great evidence of past trials in Greece. Many of the juries were massive. A philosopher named Pericles gave a speech during the Peloponnesian war which later, would be a precedent for presidents to say the same speech in the future.

Art and architecture has been present in all of history and still occurs now. There are many different types of architecture such as, Tholos, Stoa, Theaters, and Bouleuterion. The Lincoln Memorial was designed after the parthenon, showing that similar architecture is still kept alive today. Art and architecture are known for their balance, order and beauty. Unlike modern art, historical art is neat and straight. One of the most known forms of architecture are columns. New architecture is made every day, parts of historical architecture are sometimes brought into modern architecture. In many historical textbooks and pasts involve architecture of some sort. Iktinos and Kallikrates are important architects of History. Though the Democracy Greeks used did not last, modern-day Democracy is just the evolved version. For example, Greeks used direct Democracy where they voted on issues. Modern-day Democracy is indirect and elects people to congress to represent.  Pericles was a general who helped improve Democracy. Pericles also gave a famous speech to Athenian heros,  many presidents still use this speech to this day. If the Greeks never recorded their history, it's likely that following civilisations wouldn't follow their (nonexistent) example until much later, which would be horribly detrimental to this subject and modern society in general. Those who don't learn from the past cannot remedy their situation if there's no recorded past to learn from. In addition, the Rosetta Stone was written during the Hellenistic period, and probably would not have been if the earlier Greeks didn't set an example.
  Herodotus (Ἡρόδοτος) chronicled past events (including the Persian War) into his book The Histories. For this, he is considered the "Father of History"; without his work, the writing of history would be a much more minor achievement, with only Thucydides (Θουκυδίδης) archiving events such as the Peloponnesian War.

Math is used everywhere around the world (schools, jobs, etc) it important for our society to be able to use math or people would encounter problems that would be difficult to solve without math in Ancient Greece Euclid was a mathematician that investigated geometry and he made a math book that was printed and used in schools centuries later. For example, the US uses democracy as well as practices preformed by the Greeks. To the day, countries are starting to adopt democracy as their form of government because it pleases the people in a civil and organized way. Furthermore, the voting system of Greece is used in other countries. Ancient Greece used a direct democracy where citizens voted directly on legislation and executive bills, while America uses votes casted by individual states by a group of electors.
