Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) 

Two awards accredited by SFJ Awards:

1. Older Client Care in Practice Award (OCCP)

2. Older Client Law in Practice Award (OCLP)

Students are required to meet the required standards to become accredited – these are not ‘taught’ courses.

Society for Later Life Advisers (SOLLA)

The Later Life Adviser Accreditation (LLAA) is made up of four standards and is not a taught course (although all CPD is free of charge for Associate members). It evidences eligibility from an online application submission and 90-minute one-on-one VIVA assessment.

Just and SOLLA

Just (one of the UK’s leading providers of retirement financial solutions) and SOLLA have produced a free online training module: Consumer Vulnerability In Later Life.

It has been designed for all staff in financial advice firms who work with older and vulnerable clients and their families, helping them to understand what constitutes vulnerability; how to identify when someone may be vulnerable and how to change working practices when servicing vulnerable clients.

Upon successful completion of the course students will receive a certificate – ‘Certificate in Consumer Vulnerability in Later Life (2022)’.
