My most significant areas of artistic growth were drawing more realistic things, like from the chair drawings to some of my faces drawings. In the chair drawings I really took my time trying to make the shading the best and most realistic it could be. In the faces, I tried to get the variation of light and dark skin tones in the face to make it more dimensional. Also I learned how to use water color, and how to use the colors in water color to blend together and create lights an darks for shadows. What artistic struggles did you learn from?  During the faces drawings, I struggled with getting the face features the right size compared to the face, and also to give myself enough space above the eyes in the forehead and hair space. But after practicing multiple times, it helped me become better at drawing faces and getting the proportions right. Also during the text project I was struggling on getting the sky to look realistic. I kept layering on different blues and i took a lot of white acrylic paint and a paper towel ball to dab on the paint to make the clouds. As you pursue art for pleasure or maybe even as a future career, what subjects or new approaches would you like to try? If I pursue drawing later in life, which I know I probably will, I would like to pursue drawing animals because I think it would be fun to draw all of the intricate parts like the hair on a dog and like features on animals that are different then humans. I also think it would be cool to draw things that are zoomed in. Like a big and close up picture of a flower or someones hands.
