When I hear the word, my mind goes back to the album PJ Morton titled Gumbo, paying homage to his hometown New Orleans which is famous for this flavorful dish. This album certainly did capture the nature of its name. The album Gumbo serves a variety of deep messages which includes love, religion, and self-awareness. Gumbo puts the listener in a comforting, sometimes soothing state as it includes with and occasional bit of spice to jazz up the album.
