There are many receptors in your brain that are designed to take in both natural and other types of opiums. These proteins are called opioid receptors. After the drugs get into your body they attach to these receptors which your brain is then triggered to release dopamine. The dopamine levels that are released are much larger than the ones that your brain releases on its own and your brain will slowly stop making it.

When someone comes in with an overdose on oxycodone they may give them something called naloxone this is a drug that is used to reverse or help an opioid overdose. Naloxone takes root in your brain just like opioids it attaches onto the receptors and blocks the signals that the drug is giving out. This is used most often when someone is struggling to breath. It will restore a normal heart rate and breathing rate to someone very quickly.

Forensic Scientist tend to do urine samples from the suspects and from there test for it. They use immunoassay testing which will bring out antibodies which contain certain antigen. It will then show it is matching up to oxycodone. They also do blood tests but urine is the most accurate.

You can purchase this many different ways to help with medical problems. Without a note from a doctor it is a serious offence. Most times it will come in pill form. When you go to the pharmacy to get the drugs you will have to sit and read all of the side effects. Those packets can be around 50 pages long, sometimes if not all times one of the people working will walk you through each page. You will then need to sign consent that you have read the side effects and understand what is happening.

When you take oxycodone it can make you constipated or bloated. When you take the drug it can slow down your bowel motility, this is because it inhibits gastric in the drugs. When it goes through the GI tract it absorbs more liquid. After leaving the GI tract there is not enough liquid and it swells. Leading you to bloat.

When taking oxycodone it can lead to liver failure. When you take the drug it eventually gets its way to the liver, where it uses the P450 enzymes and then metabolizes most of the drug. When you go over a certain amount the liver is unable to process oxycodone and the toxicity of the drug. This will cause the liver to undergo lipid peroxidation witch is when some of the cell membranes in the liver are damaged.
