On our two-hour excursion, we will pass bald cypress trees, alligators, and herons, learning about the significance of the swamp to the delicate ecosystem of Louisiana. Finding The Fue Follets

We will end the night back at the swamp, looking where some say they’ve seen glowing lights in the swamp at night. These lights, according to local legend, are the Fue Follets, are Cajun take on will-o’-the-wisps. The Haunted Frenier Cemetery

On our second day, we will visit Houma, where we will join the celebration at Rougarou Fest. The festival is based on the local legend of a werewolf.
