Her thoughts of how wrong it is are dismissed because her strong emotions (passion) influenced her reasoning. She convinced herself that it (murder) was necessary. 
- "I am well aware how terrible a crime I am about to commit, but my passion..."  again, her passion is overpowering. It looks as though she couldn't control herself, but she has had the choice to stop. (e.g when Aegeus gave her  a place to stay she could have left it at that)
