I have been in the team 7 years. I enjoy working with families because I value building strong relationships and supporting them thrive together. It's very rewarding being able to make a positive difference.

I have been at Barnardos Family Hubs for 4.5 years in the Community Early Help Team and have been working in Early Years for 21.5 years in total!

I enjoy supporting parents to reach their potential and i love interacting with babies and making them smile :-)

You will find us in Health Visitor Clinics, Baby massage sessions, Breastfeeding Stay and play groups and running parent courses and workshops.

It focuses on children aged 4 months to 6 years and helps parents learn how to respond in ways that support emotional development, build stronger relationships, and help children feel safe and understood.

The course is reflective, supportive, about learning together and building confidence.

In the first year of life your baby’s brain doubles in size. Their brain grows when connections are made between the cells, in response to what is happening to them.

The most important thing that happens to your baby is you. Everything you do when you are with your baby sparks connections in their brain.

Your baby’s brain grows better when you do five simple things that feed the growing brain.
