         <title>Domestic Violence</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>violent or aggressive behavior within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner.&nbsp;<br>Reaction: Some victims react physically trying to fight back or emotionally and verbally but crying and screaming at the abuser. <br>Signs and Symptoms: PTSD, Depression, Dissociation may be present in the victim. As well as physical evidence like redness in the skin, bruising, and black eyes. Other symptoms or signs may be chronic fatigue. involuntary shaking, and changes in sleeping or eating patterns etc. <br>How to help: You can help a domestic victim by going to the police and there are also domestic violence hotlines. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Child Abuse </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Child abuse is when a parent or caregiver, whether through action or failing to act, causes injury, death, emotional harm or risk of serious harm to a child. There are many forms of child maltreatment, including neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, exploitation and emotional abuse.<br>Reaction: Children can barely react physically to being abused because they are children. They can react emotionally which could make them stand-offish and might have lack of trust in relationships with others. <br>Signs and Symptoms: Being withdrawn, attitude could be more angry and demanding, child will more than likely not be close with parent or caregiver. Signs of physical abuse could be welts, bruises, or cuts in unusual spots, they shy away from touch and may always be on guard. <br>How to help: Again if you see or find a child who is abused, please go to the police or call the many hotlines there are for child abuse. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Elder Abuse</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Abusers of older adults are both women and men, and may be family members, friends, or “trusted others.” In general, elder abuse is a term referring to any knowing, intentional, or negligent act by a caregiver or any other person that causes harm or a serious risk of harm to a vulnerable adult.<br>Reaction: The elder could react dangerously by either getting violent back or to others they might not trust and also causing the elder to show early signs of dementia or another disease.&nbsp;<br>Signs and Symptoms: Physical abuse could be odd cuts, welts or bruises. Not being given their medications on time or at all. Being used for their money and taken advantage of. <br>How to help: Ways to help could be stepping in and doing something. Also calling the police and hotlines for elder abuse.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
