The image of king arthur is a reference to Macbeth kills the current king so he can become the new king just like in this movie. the batman image reminds me of Banquo because he doesn't believe that Macbeth didn't kill Duncan and he is the only one who believes that, which that makes him an outside from everyone else's believes.
