         <description><![CDATA[<div>Extremely powerful verbs bringing images - ‘wretched’, ‘butchered’.<br><br>Examples of polymētis - ‘mastermind of war, I was not wrecked’ shows Odysseus, as the hero/protagonist, inherently possesses the qualities essential for survival. ‘Fatal stroke’, however, suggests that it is his ‘destiny’ to die, and he has survived beyond that prophecy.<br><br>Theme of the sea being the enemy - Poseidon is mentioned to have ‘roused some punish[ment]’ which also brings in divine intervention.</div>]]></description>
