In all honesty, it was very hard for me to picture someone because this is my first time experiencing something like this. Although, I was still able to identify that person but not with ease, understanding their views were pretty once I actually got to picture and identify them. I felt that we must always the other person's side of the coin in order for us to actually judge or even say something about them, this way we can think of words to say without hurting their thoughts so that they can also know that we care and understand what they are going through.

In my opinion, it was difficult to picture someone or a group. Maybe because so much comes to my mind, making it hard for me to focus on a certain person’s/group’s needs. Though afterward, I was able to. I often put myself in others' perspectives so that I can understand and maybe even help them (if I can). I feel a sense of knowing and understanding for the person, without having to quickly judge/criticize them.

Garcia 10E AN

I would like to say that I have a good sense of imagination. I can picture that someone and feel the kinds of emotions that it exudes and also feel the vibe that it gives. I would also like to say that I am a very understanding person. I can see or tell where the other person is coming from I can understand their point of view. I sometimes feel bad because they are having a hard time but not doing something they were supposed to do. It is hard to give a punishment but sometimes you have no choice. I also say that it makes me feel more knowledgeable as I would get another point of view from another person or group.

-Paul Desiongco, 10-Onyx

I tried to help by saying that they might use your load as payment. A few texts later, she spoke with netflix and told her that prepaid wont work but she told them that she uses postpaid. In the end, the support team couldn't help her. The person that I have reflected on during my empathy walk was my little cousin.

I have actually identified what my cousins wants and his perspective. He is actually the only little kid in the family and I admit that I felt bad when I would ignore him when he asks to play with him. At first, it seemed annoying to me since I am not a fan of the kiddy stuffs but I began to realize that my cousin needed someone to play with. He doesn't have someone the same age as him to play with which is why he asks me to play with him. That's why, I try my best to play with my cousin even if I don't like it. I play with him not because I just felt pity but because I don't want him to feel lonely. I want him to feel loved. I want him to know that there are people who care for him and whom he can truly count on even in the small things.

Bolaños, 10A

For me, it was easy to picture someone based on the empathy walk. However, I felt that I was not able to identify the needs of person's groups needs and pov. I have to admit that I always look at my own point of view sometimes without having an open mind and and seeing what others have in their perspective and pov. I felt somehow sad or i felt that I was biased. To improve, i need to be more open minded and more empathetic when looking at the pOV of others...

Paul Nathan L.

It was hard for me to picture someone, I don't have any current one in mind but the empathy walk made me think about a past conflict I had with a certain person. I remember that back then, I'd fight often with this person about very little things. It took a while but when we finally talked about it, I saw things from that person's POV. We both have grown up very differently and were simply just not seeing eye to eye. I definitely think that empathizing and walking in someone else's shoes helps you to relate to that person and understand that all conflicts have different POVs and are not one sided.

-Enriquez 10Topaz GH

I can see the issues they can face but, I find it hard to think of their needs because I can't really experience the same things they experience. A sense of sonder hit me; afterwards, I realized that it is impossible to know the exact experiences another person has. So maybeee, it is best to talk with other people to gain insight on what they really think and feel to solve any conflicts.

- Reyes, 10E, AN

One of my biggest values is being able to empathize with other people. I always make sure to think and look out for others so it’s easy for me to picture someone. It’s hard to see my best friend become close with others because I sometimes feel like I’m being replaced. I would feel jealous when she’d talk about others or included others in our conversations. Yes, I was also able to identify that person’s needs and point of view. She needs someone to understand, be supportive, and be proud of her for every good thing she’s gaining. And just because she talks about others doesn’t mean I mean any less to her. I somehow felt bad that I used to feel jealous and that I wanted to be her only friend, but I’m happy that I changed my mindset into a better one that not only benefited the people around me but also myself. - Mencias, 10A GH

It's easy to picture anyone personally through this empathy walk since I often stand as the sympathizer and listener in any group you can place me in. It is like a walk in the park at times, really depends on the person/group though, but I didn't say it's impossible. Since this question inquires about a specific and singular person/group, I'd say the one that appeared before me would be myself. Yes. I was able to identify the needs and point of view since that person is me but it is not definite if they are needs or the actual point of view. It's probably since it's both me and me. That's what makes it foggy and hazy. I felt both disappointed and bewildered yet determined and confident. It was like gazing into a person's eyes who looks like you yet is not you. A singular realm to where it is only inhabited by you. It was like gazing into a kaleidoscope of what only consists of you. So clear yet so confusing and blinding.

>> Jared Gagni, 10-Ruby

Yes I was easy for me to picture someone, and coming from them or their POV I think I would understand them more with their needs. I felt a little bit heavy because if I were to experience that I don't think I would still continue do the things this person is doing to me, but since I did reflect I would try to have a better character or attitude towards them

OBM - Reflecting on the empathy walk, was it easy for you to picture someone? Were you able to identify with the person's (group's) needs and point of view? What did you feel?

It was vey hard for me to have someone in mind that I feel I could truly empathize with, mainly because I was often pushed around and pampered and took the easy way out of things and therefore did not truly develop my emotional connections with the world. Even then, it's still very difficult for me to identify a group's needs and point of view because I only did what was told of me, not creating solutions of my own and there fore had, and still have, a robotic mindset which is very difficult for me to remove, hence why I try to not look back at the past or over-rely on it as my guidebook. I feel numb for the most part when it comes to empathy, but I hate cynics, so I'll make sure to keep this message to remind myself.

AN 10-RUBY Pineda, S

Somehow, it was easy for me to picture someone while reflecting on the empathy walk, considering that in this world of ours, empathy for sure is one of the values many of us should have. I was able to identify, as well, with the person's needs and point of view. It felt nice actually that I was able to open my ears into someone's needs, opening myself to their views, and not just sticking to mine. Through this, I was able to learn more about them and their struggles, and at the very least, understand them.
- Mary Alerta [AN 10-Ruby}
