Cockroaches have tissues in their body, and so do humans. But, some tissue types are different. An example of a type of tissue in the human body, is Stratified Squamous Epithelium. The tissue is found where friction is most present because most of the cells from the tissue fall off, and can regenerate (Ex: Skin). Cockroaches do not have tissues to protect all their organs and body parts, because for example, they have an open circulatory system.

The cockroach has a nervous system, which includes nerves. The neurons have extensions that can send messages throughout the body. The brain is the control center of the body of cockroaches as well as in humans. Therefore, these organisms can control their own actions.
