         <title>Grouping Teaching and Research (NAG)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One thing that we looked at in the past was linking the Research Groups &gt; UG Teaching  &gt; PGT &gt; PGR<br>The 2016 planning document identified some of this:<br>https://share.hull.ac.uk/FSE/CompSci/staff/departmental%20plans/2016/Existing%20structures-v1d.docx?Web=1<br>Though now could consider 4 or 5 Themes <br>(general) CS (HPC)<br>SE (DEIS)<br>Games/Graphics (HIVE)<br>Computing/Cyber (new cyber lab if happens)<br>Robotics (Robots Lab)<br>Linking the facilities (HIVE, Robotic Lab, Viper/HPC) to research and degrees could also be part of the USPs for "why Hull?"<br>Potentially have reserach groups that are inclusive (that was the intention with the ones under the school), perhaps with topic areas below thematic applications.<br>Worth reviewing against faculty themes.<br>Given the Hull background with Wilberforce and the new university values, I'd suggest some Green/Sustainable Computing focus....</div>]]></description>
