When technology first came to their world, everyone was skeptical and many rumours were spread about them.  Many people have said that you can leak your address and private information on the internet/technology, and I believe that adults would rather not go on it at all than get leaked. But- society is moving fast, and many have been forced to use it, hopefully understanding technology more as they go.
We're also on it most of the time, and I'm pretty sure they think that we're going to become addicted to it and they won't spend any time with us. First, they might worry that we don’t know how to balance time and spend a lot of time on entertainment, like YouTube, video games, etc. rather than work purposes. Besides, spending too much time on internet actually is not good for our eyes as well.  Also, many parents did not grow up with the technology, they may have a different perspective for the need of it.  Moreover, there is a lot of online bullying happening daily, our parents may have a concern we may get hurt or get influenced in a bad way. We may not be mature enough to understand and handle these issues.
