This occured abiotic extinction around 65 million years ago and is thought to have brought on by the impact a several mile wide asteroid. From the asteroid dust was thrown into the atmosphere, causing a bloackage of sunlight and in turn a drop in temperature. Other theories include Volcanic eruptions of basalt seeping into the air creaing greenhouse gases and a climate change. A tectonic change is also theorized to have change the landmasses in the area and climates in which they were in. All ogether this first mass extinction killed around 76% of all species.

The Permian Triassic Extinction occurred 251.941 million years ago and killed off 90-96% of the species. 90% of all marine animals and 70% of land mammals were wiped out. It was caused by a warming of the Earth's climate which effected oceans which eventually lead to a huge volcanic activity on a massive scale. These were abiotic changes and factors. Pelycosaurs went extinct with birds, lizards, and amphibians evolving.

An abiotic extinction happening around 364 million years ago, and caused by global cooling which was followed by a global. This extinction is linked to a wide desertifacion of land plants causing less CO2 to be in the atmosphere and therefore lower levels of greenhouse gases. And killed around 75% of all species.
