I don't like the idea that people automatically deserve respect because they're older. Respect goes both ways. Giving respect isn't ridiculous, it's the fact that because I'm younger, I'm expected to take the high road, be the bigger person, if the older person was rude to me. Everyone should show everyone respect, no matter age.

  • many kids get treated differently just because of a mental illness(anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, BPD) that they cannot control and everyone just chops up to being moody

  • Parents who don't believe in mental illness limit their kids in the long run because they don't teach them how to cope properly, how to use their skill-set, or give them treatment if they need it

  • Teachers who don't understand don't give accommodations to students who can't control their actions or have a lack of motivation or attention because of it, these students are chopped up to being disrespectful, moody, or out of control, when in reality they're crying for help
