Which we were told means we should not deviate from the script, or change things. Many teachers have been frustrated by this. In all current teacher prep programs we are taught that it is best to teach with Integrity, not fidelity.  Fidelity vs Integrity. Fidelity = follow the script  vs Integrity = understand the goal of each lesson/module and stick to that goal and make adjustments for your individual students. I hope some district leaders have been made aware of this. Is there any district wide curriculum to address these gaps? OR people to come into the schools to help these students. It is incredibly overwhelming to be in this position, teachers can't do it all.
