My name is Eleanor I used to live in Albuquerque, New Mexico but as of three years ago I live in Loudon county Virginia, about an hour long drive from Washington DC. I have one pet, a dog, she is half Catahoola Leopard Dog and half mutt but looks just like a Plott Hound, she is five years old and love to sleep in the sun. I enjoy art, reading, swimming, photography and traveling among other things. I don’t know what my dream place to visit would be, I have been to Italy, Spain, France, Iceland, Norway and just last week I returned from going to Italy for a second time, we mostly visited the Dulemites in the Alps but flew in and out of Venice. I would say that I enjoy seeing and experiencing all the different cultures, views and foods. Lastly, I am taking this class in order to learn more about biology and how life works as well as to have AP Bio on my transcript!

Howdy. I'm Nate Smith, or Nathanael. I turned 18 earlier this month, right in the middle of a hot Texas summer. Over the years, I’ve developed a variety of hobbies, including playing the piano and drums, birdwatching, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and baking pastries from scratch. I also just adopted a black Labrador retriever puppy, named Penelope, to be alongside me and my bearded dragon, named Girly. I've always wanted to visit Edinburgh, Scotland, because of both my family heritage and the city's rich history. I'm taking this course to prepare for the AP Biology test next May, as well as to get a head start on college courses.

Hi! I'm Katharine, and I live in McLean, Virginia, right outside of D.C. I'm a figure skater, and I also enjoy ballet, travel, listening to music, and writing. I have one very tiny dog; her name is Sasha. My favorite places that I have been thus far are the Amalfi Coast in Italy, Singapore, Paris, and Kyoto, Japan. I hope to one day visit Croatia and Morocco. I'm taking this class somewhat because of a process of elimination. My dislike of math made physics an unfavorable choice, and taking chemistry last year left me with little immediate desire to build on that with AP Chem. So, I opted for biology, which I recall enjoying a lot in 9th grade, in part because the content more closely mirrored a history class, which tends to be my favorite, but also because the mystery of how living things work is fascinating to me. I'm excited for this class and to get to know all of you!
