I grew up in Church Point, LA

We had two stop lights-if you dozed off you, missed it, arguably the best gumbo, we ate our bellies full of crawfish every season, raised hogs to eat later (probably why I have a pig pet and refuse to eat Porkchop now (Porkchop is the name of our pet pig)), my only chore was to feed the hogs the slop, 1- Piggly Wiggly grocery store and some of the best bounce music, it was a slow-paced, simple life.

Currently live in Cypress, Texas where I have two brilliant babies and a husband who participates in all of our shenanigans. I grew up in North Houston where I grew a love to serve the underserved because it so closely resembled where I grew up. It feels great to represent those who look like me in places where they may not have seen representation otherwise. In Houston, it was way more fast-paced that I was used to and we had equally amazing gumbo, arguably and other food like pig's feet, chitterlings and tripe, (of which I no longer eat) but, I kept the farm life living even in Cypress! (See photo of us and our horse)

Random fact- I was born in the same hospital (St. Joseph's) that Walt Disney died in.

I lived in Burbank for about 2.5 years. The majority of my extended family all live in the Los Angeles area. My dream career path is to someday find my way back to California and work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.

Although I lived in several other places growing up (Albany-NY, Corpus Christi, Beeville, Pleasanton), I have lived in San Antonio since I was 10 so I call it my hometown. I currently still live here and commute to JSC in Houston on my onsite days (4-hour trip both ways), but plan to move to Houston in the near future.

Popular SA destinations- The Riverwalk (especially during Christmas time when it is lit up), Pearl Brewery, beautiful running/hiking trails (Eisenhower, Fredrich, Government Canyon), and Old Town Helotes

Signature event- Fiesta- two weeklong celebration in April that includes festivals, carnivals, and parades

Where Elizabeth Sebastian grew up. This area is called the "Eastern Shore". Ocean City is a very popular summer vacation spot for Marylanders and Pennsylvanians. It is known for its beaches, boardwalk, golf courses, and night life (especially for college seniors and bachelorette/bachelor parties). The Eastern Shore of Maryland is famous for its seafood, and in particular Maryland blue crabs. Whenever I go visit my parents, I am always sure to eat as much fresh caught seafood as I can.

Where Elizabeth Sebastian lives now. I did live in NYC for the past 7 years, but recently moved to Port Washington almost a year ago. Port Washington is on the western part of Long Island, about 5 miles from Queens. Port is very hilly and is known for being the spy area for Revolutionary War soldiers to spot the British ships going towards the city. It was established in 1644 and was a grazing area for cattle for a long time (called Cow's Neck Bay). There is an endless amount of amazing food from every country and countless things to do all around the island, especially since we are so close to NYC. One of my favorite things to do is go to an Islanders game.

Cependent, elles n'a transmis pas la langue au generation suivante. Alors, j'etudie le francais avec l'Alliance de Francaise de Houston corriger ce tort. Maintenant, j'habite a League City, Texas avec mon fils et mon pere habite avec nous. Ensemble, ils sont les fauteurs de troubles que vous attendez d'un grand-père et d'un petit-fils. Cependant, ce sont mes gars préférés dans le monde entier.

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the land of French speakers, but today a lot of people don't speak the language. For me, my two grandmothers spoke the Creole dialect. However, they did not transmit the language to the next generation. So, I study French with the Alliance de Francaise de Houston to correct this wrong. Now I live in League City, Texas with my son and my dad lives with us. Together, they're the troublemakers you'd expect from a grandfather and grandson. However, they are my favorite guys in the whole world.
