Turns out, it was canceled! I didn't have a phone, so I could not call him to tell him not to go to comic book club. So, I went on the bus. Everyone was surprised since I don't usually go on the bus on Wednesdays. Then, my friend Katerina saw how worried I was and asked if I wanted to call him on her phone. I did, but it didn't work so then she texted her dad to call my dad. He did, but my dad wasn't getting the messages. So, finally her dad called my mom, who called my dad, and he got the messages, so he was at my bus stop. They were going very fast around the corner where our backyard is. The first 2 bikers went by fine, but the 3rd one lost control and nearly hit my sister and I while she was pushing me on the tree swing. My family was cooking dinner and I was petting the dog🐶 while it was eating the extra food from the garbage and it snapped by and its tooth went through my upper lip. My grandma took me up stairs and wiped up the blood and my mom called the ambulance.
