I have been Confirmed, but there really isn't a story to tell. It is great that he was able to start a new program that allowed the 12 of them to be Confirmed. It is very cool that he was both the teacher and a teacher in the program himself. The part about the bishop shows that not everyone is perfect. It shows the human aspect of the church and why we have reconciliation. 

I was Confirmed in 8th grade with the rest of my class at St. Brigid. The fact that the faith doesn't allow relationships as a priest or bishop or support relationships of the same gender. It feels like that Bishop was sort of living a lie and I am sorry you had to go through that.
