It was pretty wack. America dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese. It wiped out 90% of the city and 80,000 people died instantly. Thousands after died of radiation exposure. This was a something that happened to aid Western Europe. Created by us Americans because we are so amazing and help people. It was enacted in 1948 and like $15 billion was raised for aid. At some point Truman casually mentioned to Stalin about the atomic bomb program. Which lead to a bunch of other things . They successfully tested their first atomic bomb on August 29, 1949. Lucky for us it wasn't aimed at us! Pretty important. "The sinews of peace." That is a line from Churchill's speech. The speech was given on March 5,  1946. Within the speech Churchill seemed to praise America. And he then argued for an even closer relationship for Great Britain and American. Eventually he talked about communism and made parallels to Hitler.
