Running a food stall in the Singapore Hawker center would be a like a rocky ride. The sizzle of the woks, the aromatic dance of spices, and the constant hustle keep things exciting. Serving up local favorites like Hainanese chicken rice and laksa gives me this awesome sense of accomplishment. But let's talk real – the kitchen heat is no joke, and the long hours can be a drag. Dealing with all sorts of customers, from chill locals to curious tourists, adds a social twist. Yet, being part of Singapore's food scene at 16 is a pretty cool gig – it's challenging, but the pride is next level.heritage makes each day in the hawker stall uniquely fulfilling.

three things that define me

Three things that define me are my passion for cooking and baking, my love for art, and my dedication to fitness.

I’ve developed a deep enjoyment for cooking, especially creating healthy, high-protein meals like chicken breast and rice. I take pride in experimenting with different marinades and cooking techniques to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. When it comes to baking, I enjoy making banana cake, especially since I often have leftover overripe bananas that need to be used up.

Art is another significant part of my life. I have a passion for various forms of creativity, including cooking, papercraft, and drawing, though I mostly focus on papercraft. I love seeing the finished products of my work, as they serve as reminders of my creativity and effort.

Lastly, fitness is something I’m deeply committed to. I’m always striving to improve my performance and health, whether it's pushing myself harder in workouts or simply using exercise as a way to release stress after a long day at school. If I’m feeling frustrated, working out is my go-to stress relief.

This combination of interests keeps me balanced and motivated in all aspects of my life.

voulunteering is important for social issues like poverty, littering and for people with disadvantages, who could not work. as it contributes and helps the people in need of extra help.

aging population concern me as there is by 2030, around 1 in 4 Singaporeans will be aged sixty-five or above. Showing that there are fewer people that are sixty-five and below and there are lower birthrates now, it would cause a decline in the working-age population.

i would not be able to help much in this, but i could volunteer and encourage the elderly to engage in creative work related to painting, music, or creative writing can also be beneficial to society and prevent social isolation. as most of the elderly in the home would sometime be left behind and forgotten by the caretaker (might be the child of the elderly)
