One of the girls seems to be frustrated about her friends not paying her any attention despite what is expected to be considered an obvious cry for help. The other girl agrees with her, saying that not paying any mind to her removing her profile picture could be equated to her friends not caring about her. The artist most probably had the aim of criticizing the impact and expectations put upon people with regards to social media. The first girl's character seems to be insinuating those who rely on social media to make up for their lack of communication and self-expression, which can simply be seen as wanting attention without explicitly asking for it. The artist conveys that today's society is expected to take cues such as these- something as basic as changing ones WhatsApp profile picture.
