I believe there is a red herring present all throughout this article. Critical thinking led me to believe that the writer is suggesting little pieces of information the readers may or may not already know to make his writing sound more believable. For example, he suggests that The Simpsons accurately predicts events that are going to happen in the future. He provides a picture of Bart and a magazine that has the letter 9 right beside two lines that look like an 11, supposedly showing what will happen in the future. This picture was from an episode in 1997, no one could possibly know what was going to happen 4 years later. Although The Simpsons have been right a few times the article is full of confirmation biases. This link is a video from E! that lists a few celebrities that died suddenly from unknown or mysterious causes including the OJ Simpson case. 

The one case that stood out to me was of Brittany Murphy. She officially died of pneumonia and drugs at 32 in 2009 but they later thought it may have been toxic mold in the house as her husband died of the same thing, months later. What caught my attention though was her friend went to a medium provided by E!, a company that focuses solely on Hollywood news. 
He mentioned the name Brittany and she quickly jumps to the conclusion it is Brittany Murphy giving the medium and easy way to continue and say " she is blaming an outside influence". This raises a confirmation bias and mystical energy red flag by suggesting he can talk to spirits giving the woman false hope which he then uses as leverage to trick her into thinking about a specific person. He most likely knew she was her friend, as they were on TV after all, so he said a name she might know and went from there. Personally I believe this E! medium was just stating facts that the company already knew and is simply making this woman believe its true to make himself seem credible for TV and the interview more believable. It answers many questions such as "why is a raven like a writing desk?" and "Did Charlie Chaplin really time travel?". 
I think this website is very believable and suggests an ideological support red flag. The fans supposedly solved the mysteries ending any sort of questions and other theories. This show seems credible and true but in reality it if filled with red flags. First is the confusion of correlation with causation. In the show they always make assumptions like "This is a very old building with strange noises, something paranormal must be happening". These kind of statements provide no evidence, are quite bias and are trying to make you believe it is true just because they seem legitimate ( an appeal to authority). I believe most of these people and products are very important to pop cultureas they all rose to fame and became important symbols by doing something drastic. For example, Brittany Spears is well known and a great example as she was a pop star who had a mental breakdown, created top hits and was always in the publics view. Another example is the Harry Potter franchise. In this video this lady is clearly a religious believer and suggests very strongly that Monster is the work of witchcraft, demons, Satan and more. 
She poses quite a bit of questions as to whether she is telling the truth. They suggest a strong proof by verbosity theory by suggesting all sorts of different ways the logos can be interpreted to be satanic. They believe the Apple logo is suggesting that Steve Jobs made a pact with the devil by designing it to look like the same apple Eve (from the bible), took a bite from. One of these things is slang words that we may not even realize we are using everyday. 

This photo has a lack of proof as it is just a list of words that the viewer may or may not recognize. It suggests an ideology that surrounds the society that we make up new words to represent other words. Ashley, the poet, has a strong sense of the worlds appeal to authority by saying that pop culture is telling people who to be and what to do and how to do it etc... just because they are famous. She provides no physical proof that these things she suggests are actually happening but she is convincing  enough that she does not need to.
