Electricity could also be transferred to suburbs<br><br>- Flower business boomed with the slogan "Say it with flowers" and weight conscious people started smoking more cigarettes <br><br>- Instalment plan = Banks let people buy things with a low down payment and low interest.  People bought a lot of things .  No one was concerned about prices going up<br><br>-Many farmers didn't have electricity, even after nearby suburbs had it installed<br><br>- Every 1 in 5 people had a automobile.</div>]]></description>
