         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. <strong>Organizational Culture</strong> - honor, loyalty, trust, community, respect - they prided themselves on their vision and mission<br>2. <strong>High Performing Teams</strong> - Although there was dysfunction in high-performing teams, they stayed focused on the people who showed passion and dedication in the workplace. The process that the team had to go through - one getting through the changes, then acting on next steps and follow the successful path. Then interpersonally - building back up the team to be excited for their return<br>“If everyone in the workplace is equal and treated with dignity, they work with a little extra passion, a little extra dedication. I think that’s a wonderful business message to the world.”<br>3. <strong>Diversity/Inclusion</strong> - they want everyone in the community to be included, all people to be included in the 'community'. To be inclusive and bring on anyone that is willing to be part of the community. Created a mindset for all to desire that inclusion.<br>4. <strong>Mentor</strong> - employees who rallied around him looked up to Arthur, supported him, looked for his support, looked for his guidance (as a mentor)<br>5. <strong>Coaching</strong> - coaching is built into their onboarding, training, performance, day-to-day process - you can see this highlighted just by quick glance<br>6. <strong>Follow </strong>- people following their leader and supporting him and his decision making<br>7. <strong>Failure</strong> - all of these failures that happened around him actually led him to success - it showed those around him that just cause you fail, doesn't mean you're done, but it can be part of the learning process</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><mark>Culture:</mark></strong> <br>-Market Basket had a strong established culture, which had a "family" characteristic.<br>-Culture was rooted in history dating back almost a century. <br>-Arthur T. Demuloas, embraced these group norms, from the top-down. <br><strong><mark>Leadership: </mark></strong><br>-Demuloas was a functional leader.&nbsp; <br>-The main job was to do or get done whatever was needed at that time. <br>-Social-Problem Solving (Competitors, Financials, Buying Out) <br><strong><mark>Diversity: <br></mark></strong>-Family-Run Organization. <br>-Wide variety of Associates participated in boycotting from low-level associates to management. <br><strong><mark>Mentoring:</mark></strong> <strong><mark><br></mark></strong>-Heavily influenced by his father and grandfather, both played an important role in the company's history. <br>-Heavily based in tradition. <strong><mark><br>Coaching: <br></mark></strong>-Established a culture that embraced coaching starting at the top. <br>-He led by example. Taught by doing.<br><strong><mark>Followership:</mark></strong>&nbsp;<br>-Demoulas became a celebrity within his organization.&nbsp;<br>-Individuals were willing to lose their jobs in order to show their support. (A very risky personal move) </div>]]></description>
