Listen to this line, "I prayed all night long to the Elm tree outside. I prayed that we would not get in to an accident, that we would get in to Lewiston, Idaho, in time for my mothers birthday, and that we would bring her home. Later I would realize that I had prayed for the wrong things." Oh no Sal. What is she praying for wrong. Yes, we want no accidents, we want her to get to Lewiston. And I think that we want mom to come home. There are a few ways to interpret this. One, Is that she is praying for the right things, but she should pray for more things, two is that she does not want to get there in time for moms birthday because there is something more important to be there for, and three, I really do not like this one, She gets there and releases that mom is happer as Chassien, and she just leaves her there. Another thing to think about in this chapter is the kiss. It seems our soul mates are not acting like soul mates, because Ben had a crush on someone before Sal. Sal tried to kiss Ben, which I never would have thought she would have done. And lastly, wow the photo. Is it just me, or does the officer seem like he knows? He is definitely not taking Phoebe seriously here, and is that because he knew about the note. I am clueless her. I do think that the Lunatic is leaving the notes, so this is why I can not figure it out. I made a big mistake, and read chapter 33. I did in my mind, I knew we were reading 3 chapters, so I read to 33. Oh my. That is why she lives with Mrs. Cadaver. i am wondering if we are going to find out the awful thing that happened to Mr. Cadaver, because ever since Phoebe was about to tell that story, I need to know, i am just about to burst from waiting to know, it is like in Crossing Jordan when Cass gets to the paper clips when she is reading Jane Eyre. I do not like having to stop reading when there is something you just need to know, that every day you are wishing that it is the day when you find out, and then it's not. That is the worst feeling, and I bet everybody is feeling that right now. There are so many mysteries in this book that just need to be solved! I am wondering about so many thins that the answers need to be revealed for.
