My mother was born and raised there, and I was born there. As both an Asian and white person, often times I'm unsure of where I land on that spectrum, as some of my family customs are associated to whiteness, but I am influenced and affected by many Asian customs as well. I've been playing baseball since I was four, and many of the skills and lessons I've learned from the sport have translated to other aspects of my life.
