One piece of information that was most important to me was both articles talking about how to shape a workplace using leadership and communication skills to talk to your fellow coworkers. Both articles are having difficulties on how to decide and take action on certain situations they face. One thing that stuck out to me in the second article was " If you want to create an organization where everyone participates, you’ve got to figure out how to do it by getting people involved." Most problems that corporations face is getting everyone involved to create the big picture. In the first article she had to map out how was she was going to get all employees involved using leadership skills. In the second article The senior managers couldn’t understand why people weren’t excited about their project. From my understanding, for both partners to get what they want. They both need to engage and communicate with their employees to understand what is the problem arising. After getting to the root of the problem, they can both host employee benefit opportunities to get workers to promote and work on overall achievement from both companies.

I think this information is important to me since I think it is very important to have people on the same page as you. When people have the same attitude or passion for a certain project or opportunity, it gives them determination to get their work done. It was ah-ha moment for me since I participate in a lot of charities and for most of them you participate in and try your best, you win a prize at the end. This influenced me and a lot of other people to raise money, food, etc. To win the prize while doing a good deed. Organizing a contest or prize for both companies can influence employees to improve employee performance.

How this information will change my worldwide view or mode in the future are from both articles. The tips learned from the leadership article that will be kept with me forever are on how to act, think, and sense my surroundings in a workplace setting. As well as feel comfortable to speak up, be heard, and my ideas are valued. The second article taught me to set direction and instigate action, particularly during times of transition.
