Character A seems to be the one who initiate the conversation while Character B is simply trying to end the conversation.

Person A is overly  aggressive when asking B where B was last night as if A does not  trust B or is insecure in their romantic relationship.   

This is evident in the way A keeps asking him things like "don't you have a watch?" and A repeating the question "what did you do last night?"  

Character B is insensitive and lacks emotional tact and is quite defensive, behaving as if B has something to hide. He ends the conversation very abruptly.  

Evident by this extract of the scene 
 A: Nothing?
B: I said, nothing!
A: I’m sorry I asked.  

Character A: Wife
Age: 30
Doesn't trust someone easily but she is nice and caring. 

Character B: Husband.

Character A and B are romantically involved with each other. However this is a very suspicious relationship as A does not trust B. 

This is evident by A asking ask the same question twice  "What did you do last night?" this question is asked in an aggressive and  interrogative manner.

It is late at night towards early the next morning (Character B came home in the morning and Character A is sitting on the bed. She is casually talking to Character B. Nearer to the end when she asked the same question twice she seems like she didn't trust him.)

Even though Character B's replies are short and cold, Character A tries to continue the conversation to get the answer he/she wants. 

The theme can be Trust. As Character A asked Character B twice "What did you do last night?". It shows that Character A doesn't give Character B enough trust so she wants to find out what he is doing for the whole night that makes him stay out for the whole night.
