         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kamala Harris is a modern day figure who relates to the Grimke Sisters through being the first women in the United States of America to become vice president, a job stereotypically and historically seen as a man's job. In the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden and his elected vice president Kamala Harris were voted into office. Kamala Harris is the first women in America to have this job which was previously only a man's job. The Grimke sisters fought for the rights of women to be able to speak publicly and freely about their beliefs as well as do a job that is "only for a man". The work of these sister was a stepping stone to a future where a women can be vice president. </div>]]></description>
