The BTA paper really opened my eyes to just how much inequity there is in schools with the 12 obstacles listed in the Barriers, Equity and Access worksheet we did. I think this is a very difficult question to answer as I believe it is extremely difficult to tie down the definition of what teacher I want to be. This was a very important concept to learn especially going in as a new teacher.
