We used two methods to find our velocity. We found the average rate of change (slope) between (2,4) and (4,16) by using change in y divided the change in x. We found the velocity as 6. Then, we also found the first difference between (2,4) and (3,9) and also between (3,9) and (4, 16), which were 5 and 7, respectively. We concluded that the velocity at 3 sec was 6, which is between 5 and 7.
