We need to ask ourselves, why did we become teachers, to help our students, not give up on them. Very interesting that the teacher would go away from the curriculum and do her own thing. Takes courage to take that risk. Too many teachers are going with the flow and not making a difference. It's challenging, but finding ways to connect with our students is priority so they feel safe enough to follow our guidance.
