Think about the earth like it's a person. When a person wears a blanket in the same way earth also carries a blanket made of different gases like Oxygen, Nitrogen and many more. This blanket helps the earth to stay warm and safe to live . But there's a problem guess WHO !? We Human beings, it's strange but human beings are the only one who is responsible for this unnatural climate change ! We Human beings kept burning many things which produces harmful gases like coal , wood etc to produce electricity for the cars , bikes etc . This increases the amount of gas in the nature and makes the climate cold due to this many harmful changes take place , for example the Ocean rises , Animals loose there shelter, Melting of glacier and decrease in food production due a very hot climate. The climate change is not taking place naturally like it used to be hundred years ago .

Climate change is the long-term change in the Earth’s temperature and weather patterns, and most of it is caused by human actions. When we burn fuels like coal, oil, and gas, we release harmful gases into the air that trap heat, almost like covering the planet with a thick blanket. This trapped heat makes the Earth warmer, leading to melting ice, rising sea levels, stronger storms, wildfires, and heatwaves. These changes do not just harm the environment but also affect animals, plants, and people everywhere. Forests are disappearing, species are losing their homes, and millions of people are at risk from floods and extreme weather. If we do not act now, the damage will only continue to grow. But there is still hope, by saving energy, planting trees, recycling, and using clean sources like solar and wind power, we can slow down climate change and give our planet a chance to heal. In the end, protecting Earth is not just important, it is our responsibility.

Climate change is basically planet's mood swing, just like us humans earth has a natural system that keeps the temperature stable. But because of our human activities we are adding too many green house gases into the atmosphere. These gases trap heat in them which adds on the heat in the atmosphere, its like adding an extra blanket when u don't need one. This changes the climate like unwanted rains, glacier melting, extreme heat in one part of the earth and on contrast the other part is shivering.

Climate change is the long-term disturbance of Earth’s climate system, primarily caused by human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and unsustainable industrial practices. These actions release excessive greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane, which trap heat in the atmosphere and cause global warming. As a result, glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, and extreme weather events such as floods, cyclones, droughts, and heatwaves are becoming more frequent and intense. Climate change is also disrupting ecosystems, threatening biodiversity, and putting human health, food security, and water resources at risk. It is not just an environmental challenge, but a social, economic, and moral crisis that affects every nation and every individual. Combating it requires urgent global cooperation, adoption of renewable energy, reforestation, sustainable lifestyles, and technological innovation. The future depends on the choices we make today, because protecting the planet means protecting life itself!

Climate change is when the Earth’s usual weather patterns start shifting in serious and often damaging ways. It’s mostly caused by human activities . like driving cars, running factories, cutting down forests, and burning fuels like coal and oil. These actions release gases into the atmosphere that trap heat, like a thick blanket wrapped around the planet. As a result, the Earth is slowly heating up. This warming messes with the natural balance of things: ice at the poles melts, sea levels rise, storms become stronger, droughts last longer, and seasons become less predictable. Animals, plants, and people all feel the impact. It's not just about warmer weather .it's about life on Earth becoming more difficult and less stable if we don’t do something about it.

-Divisha Kakkar

These actions release greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane, which trap heat in the atmosphere. The effects of climate change are serious and widespread. It causes rising sea levels due to melting glaciers, extreme weather events like floods, droughts, cyclones, and heatwaves, and disturbance in rainfall patterns. It also threatens biodiversity, as many plants and animals lose their habitats, and affects human life by reducing food and water security, spreading diseases, and forcing people to migrate. Climate change is one of the biggest global challenges of our time, and urgent action is needed to reduce its impact.
