Integrating park landscape into the facing architecture by conceptualizing Lake Wheeler Road as a loggia of the architecture there, opposite the park.

The Dix Park land would be perfect for an open outdoor space for getting outside to exercise while enjoying the beauty of the Park, with its large towering oaks. 

Such a space would get a lot of use by Raleigh residents!

I tried to ride my bike on the road that goes through Dix Patk. But all the roads there are old and rough and bumpy. Makes the whole area feel run down, dated, neglected, and uncared for. 

Repaving those roads is a must!! 

Please consider integrating a Greenway throughout the park.

The designers of that park did a really fantastic job with lots of winding greenway paths for walking, biking, strolling; covered  open area rest stations, park benches under large trees, restroom and water fountain areas, children’s play stations, it is all very clean, classy, well laid out out and inviting.

Even a gated dog park on the grounds, which is really cute!

Please visit and consider similar facilities!
