However, the list of phrases on the left side is a little confusing to me: I see how &quot;race&quot; and &quot;sexual orientation&quot; are part of a student&#39;s social identity, but it seems like &quot;curriculum and pedagogy&quot; AFFECTS identity rather than being a PART of identity, right? Similarly, for &quot;academic identity,&quot; are the listed elements all things that AFFECT a student&#39;s academic identity? Anyways, I feel like I understand the main idea either way!</title>
