I think Justice 40 is a worthy effort, especially since it seems to involve the whole of government and not just one part. I am hopeful that it will be successful but may take a long time to see.

I feel some do, but there is such a tug of war, that many are not nearly as effective as hoped. A major one in recent times is ObamaCare, and what the plan was, versus what was able to be passed, due to compromise.

I think equal access to clean air, water, and healthy environments is really important. I think it would need to be specified though. Some may see equal access to clean air, water, and healthy environments as having that access in your home, school, work, everyday life....others may see it as making sure parks or other places you go would have it (but not necessarily your home. This is something that would need to be laid out in detail to ensure everyone has true access.

Community outreach, communication, awareness are all critical components and getting stakeholder buy-in is paramount, and lacking such actions will make Justice 40- a challenge to build momentum long-term.

More publicity and making it easier to apply to the funding investments available. There's a lot of communities that have been disinvested and would qualify and need the help but they are not as savvy at navigating the government funding process. Making sure that the process is easy enough for first-timer communities to access funding is important.

It would be great to think that communities could have equal access to clean air, water and healthy environments however life is not valued the same and action occurs where money is. Poorer communities will not always have the access, resources and political support to have environmental issues addressed

Yes - policies are one of the main ways to enforce change. Compliance is another issue. But can definitely be a starting place for making change.
