The song talks about being a great boyfriend for someone, which is essentially the same mindset as Count Paris. Act 1, scene 2 states,” Younger than she are happy mothers made.”
2- Sexy and I know it by LMFAO
-Paris is full of himself in a way. He knows that he is a worthy suitor to Juliet and that any woman would be lucky to marry him. Act 1 scene 2 states, " Of honorable reckoning are you both, and pity 'tis you liv'd at odds so long. But now, my lord, what say you to my suit?"
3- You belong with me by Taylor Swift
      - Paris is very excited about marrying Juliet and insists that they are in love and will be happy. Act 4, scene 1 states, “So will ye, I am sure, that you love me.”
4- Put your head on my shoulder- Paul Anka
      - Paris would make an excellent husband for Juliet. He is rich and royal so she would never struggle or be harmed by him. Lord Capulet agreed that Paris would be a great choice for Juliet and Capulet believed that Paris woudln't harm Juliet. Act one scene 2 states, " But woo her, gentle Paris, get her heart, my will to her consent is but a part."
5- Make you feel my love by Adele
     - Paris is a great suitor for Juliet and would provide her with a stable and secure life if they married on another. The lyrics from the song state, " I can make you happy, make your dreams come true." That is exactly what Paris knows he could do for Juliet, making this an excellent song for his playlist.
6- I will remember you by Sarah Mclachlan
    - Paris is sad for Juliets death and is heart broken that he will not get to marry his love. He was heart broken when he found out about Juliet's sudden death on their wedding day. Act 4 scene 5 states, " O love! O life! not life, but love in death!"
7- Ain't no sunshine by Bill Withers
    - This song talks about how the world basically stops when the love interest is gone. This is similar to how Paris feels about Juliet. Act 5 scene 3 states, " It is supposed the, the fair creature died."
8- Yesterday by The Beatles
    - The song states ," Yesterday love was such an easy game to play. Now I need a place to hide away. Oh, I believe in yesterday." If these lyrics are taken literally, it would represent how quickly things escalated for Paris. First it was marrying Juliet and proclaiming his love for her after only just meeting her. That could be classified as "yesterday," and Juliet's sudden death is the reason Paris needs to " hide away."
9- Bad blood by Taylor Swift
    - The hatred expressed in these lyrics could compare to how Paris felt towards Romeo when Romeo was caught braking into the Capulet family tomb. Act 5 scene 3 states, " Condemned villain, I do apprehend thee: obey, and go with me; for thou must die."
10- Cry me a river by Justin Timberlake
    - If Paris were to found out about Romeo and Juliet's romance and unfortunate end, he most likely wouldn't sympathize with Juliet anymore. She tried to fake her death to get out of marrying him and if he knew the truth about her "death," he would've been very offended and ultimately, very upset.

Count Paris really does care for Juliet and wants to marry her. Even though there are no consequences for men hurting their wives, Count Paris isn't the type of person to do something like that to Juliet. He would never hurt her, even if he could. He is also a hopeless romantic and loves Juliet. He thinks his feelings are reciprocated, making him fall even more in love with Juliet, causing her death to be more catastrophic for him. Act 4 scene 1 states, " Immoderately she weeps for Tybalt's death, and therefore have I little talk'd of love." Paris doesn't want to rush Juliet into marriage even if he already assumes that Juliet loves him.

Paris is a hopeless romantic.Meaning that losing the one person that he loved really affected him and is very heart breaking for him. He really wanted to marry Juliet and have a happy life with her. He was so excited about marrying her, and was heart-broken when she died prematurely. He would give her a nick-name like darling because he is very kind and gentle with her, even if at times he is a bit presumptuous towards her feelings towards him. Act 5 scene 3 states, " This is that banish'd haughty Montague, that murder'd my love's cousin, with which grief, it is supposed, the fair creature died;" The black and white filter emphasizes the grief and sadness Paris is experiencing because of Juliet's death.

Count Paris is very presumptuous and assumes that Juliet loves him even though she is so young and barely knows him. He is a hopeless romantic in that sense. Him saying that he woke up in the morning feeling lonely and suddenly feels complete because of his love for Juliet exemplifies just how presumptuous Count Paris is.
