The unique characteristics of cats can be divided into four parts. Firstly, their ears. Cats have 32 muscles that control the outer ear. They can move their ear like radar, and pinpoint the source, can rotate them independently 180 degrees and can turn in direction of the sound 10 times faster than dogs. Secondly, their eyes. Cats have the largest eyes of any mammals. They can see 6 times better than human at night. Thirdly, their bones. Cats have 250 bones in their bodies compared to 206 in our bodies. You will understand why cats have lots of more places where they can bend and twist than we do. Almost 10% of cats’ bones are their tail which use to maintain balance.  Last but not least, their fur. Do you know why cats licking their fur? It is because to improve the process of evaporative cooling. They have some sweat gland that aid in this process.
