It is about a boy named Luke who is the third child. The government doesn't let people have three children. Luke has to hide or the government could find him. Would he find other third child or he is the only one? I liked this book because I couldn't stop reading it. The only thing I did not liked about the book is that at the beginning everything happend very slow. While reading the book I felt nervous because the main character was doing things that could kill him.

by Francesco D'Adamo
Copyright 2001
Uploaded 6/5/17
by Carolina Jiménez #1

I would recommend Iqbal to readers who like mystery and stories about different characters and their problems. There are a couple of characters but the most important ones are Fatima who tells the story, Iqbal who the is about, and probably Mr. Khan the owner of the factory. The conflict is that Iqbal goes to the factory of Mr. Khan and finds that everybody who's working there are kids as slaves. He wants to change this problem of slavery. When I started reading this book it was kind of boring so at first I didn't like it. But when I got more into the book it started getting more interesting. I really enjoyed this book. I really recommend it.

I will recommend to other students but if they need to read quickly a book this book is perfect because this book is very short. This book also has a very good but not very emotional story. The characters are the Iron Giant and the kid named Hogarth. The main conflict is that when the giant finished its creation he was naughty a destructive. So then it is when Hogarth comes and trains him for being better and how to not destroy things. This is a very cool book.

It's about an Iron Giant that appears in the town and destroys the farms. So every body is super scared. One day they made him a tramp to fall in a hole and then they covered him with dirt, but then he escaped. One of the paragraphs is about a dragon the size of Australia.Where their is a competition which in the Iron Giant and the dragon have to make some proves. Who do you think will win? So the conflict is that Hogarth the little boy has to teach the Iron Giant how to be a good robot. I was really happy while reading the book. The book kept me in the edge of my seat!!

The book starts with the conflict that Lucas goes his uncle Benny with out permission. Before Lucas started talking with uncle Benny he heard some news that one of the twin towers where attacked.Uncle Benny hurried with all the fire fighters to help people that where trapped in the tower. When Lucas saw he's dad, Lucas hurried and told his dad that he didn't know if Uncle Benny was okay. Then the big problem was that the other twin tower was also hitten by the plane. After that one twin tower fell! Finally uncle Benny was okay after all the things that occured. It maked me feel excited because I didn't know what would happen with uncle Benny. I really recommend this book cause it can help you see how problems can occur so fast

It uses some unusual words such as ''toppled'' instead of ''fell''.
The main characters are The Iron Giant, Hogarth and the space-bat-angel-dragon. A weird thing about this book is that it has two conflicts. The first one was that the Iron Giant was eating all the metal in the town. It was eating tractors, cars, wires and everything else that was metal. The second conflict was that a Space-bat-angel-dragon the size of Australia landed on earth. It was eating everything.

You should read it if you like stories that are funny and serious at the same time, not real but at the same time it can probably happen in real life. This book is superb because it finds things that sometimes don't go together and mixes them perfectly so they don't seem out of place. For example it addresses a very serious problem and you learn about it without being depressed the whole book. The conflict is a very rich man that owns a casino boat and he pollutes the ocean a lot and there are some people trying to stop him. This book made me feel like I could make a change too. I think that the purpose of this book besides entertaining people is to inspire them into making a good impact on the environment.

I would recommend this book for kids, boys, or girls, but to little kids, from 3rd to 6th grade. My characters names are, Lucas, he plays american football, and his uncle Benny is a hero in New York, a firefighter. The conflict in this book was that when Lucas that when Lucas was playing american football, he hit him self and he was unconscious. so Lucas mom took Lucas to the doctor to check on him, to see if he was better, but the doctor told him that he couldn't continue playing american football any more. So Lucas went to New York to find his uncle Benny and see what he could do to continue playing his dream, american football. My feelings while reading the book were sad, I felt sad because he not only could not continue his dream, but could have been killed in New York, including his father and uncle Benny. I almost cried in this book it was really sad.

Because were he lives in the family they cannot have more than two kids.If the people of the government see Luke maybe they will kill him.

I recommend this book because it's intense and makes you realize how lucky you are.
The main character is called Hannah. She was transported to 1942. In this new time, she's called Chaya (life). Now she lives with a man named Shmuel and a lady named Gitl. The only problem is that she doesn't belong in 1942.While reading this book, I felt impotence because I felt trapped by something that I couldn't release myself from.
