America is a multicultural society. A long time ago, people from all over the world came to America to live and work. That is why you can hear many languages in America and eat foods from everywhere.
The main languages in America are English and Spanish. 

One famous American is Benjamin Franklin. He is known as one of America's founding fathers. He was an inventor and a politician. He was also the first Postmaster General. He helped to shape America into the place it is today.
