World War 2 was one  the biggest events in history, It's one of the greatest wars ever, this war was so big it lasted 6 years ! Not only did Millions of people die , but over 20 countries contributed in this huge war.The main country in this war and the country i'll talk most about is Germany,that's because it holds the biggest role amongst all of the other countries. I will explain how the war started, who got affected by it , and how did they solve it .

World War 2 started because of germany/ Nazis. It started in 1939 when the Nazis falsely accused Poland and staged a radio attack on themselves, The Nazis then Invaded Poland to give the Germans more room to live, not only did the Nazis invade Poland, but they invaded 3 more countries which are, Austria, Sudetland, and Czechoslovakia. 

The Nazis did not just target countries, but they targeted a religious group known as the Jews. They captured a lot of Jews and put them in killing camps, They tested most of them and they took the healthy people for forced labor and killed the unhealthy, the kids, or the elderly.

More and more allies started to join because they did not like how the Nazis treated the Jews.

What really Sparked up the war was Germany's surprise attack on Russia, It was one of the biggest surprise attacks, even though Hitler and Russia signed a “nonaggression” pact.This led to Russia going against the Nazis.

What caused even more spark was when Hitler invaded the Soviet Union in 1941, This was one one of the Greatest events in WW2, The Soviet Union and the Nazis had a great battle, but the Soviets won the battle with the help of the cold weather.

The Nazis started executing Jews, Catholics, Roma,  as Germany occupied Poland, Austria, and other eastern countries. They forced Jews into ghettos, where they died of disease and starvation. The Nazis started the "final solution" by murdering Jews in concentration camps in 1941.

The Nazis founded extermination camps in Poland in 1942. Trains were used to transport Jews from occupied territories to concentration camps. In the camps of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor, and Chelmno, about 2.7 million people died.

There were 9.5 million Jews in Europe in 1938, out of a total of 16.6 million worldwide. By 1945, the percentage had dropped to 3.8 million in Europe, out of a total of 11 million worldwide.   There were 900,000 survivors of Nazi rule when the war ended, with an estimated 100,000 released from concentration camps.

However, Hitler misjudged both the power of his former ally and the severity of the Russian winter. The Battle of Stalingrad was won by the Soviets in 1942. It was the bloodiest and longest war in world history. A total of four million people died, with half of them being civilians. The Germans there surrendered on January 31, 1943.

June 6, 1944, the Allies launched an invasion of Western Europe. Soviet forces retook Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and Romania as the Germans withdrew from the Eastern front. The Battle of the Bulge, Hitler's last offensive, was fought by the Allies in January 1945.

Soviet troops retook Vienna and then Berlin in April 1945. Italian dictator Benito Mussolini was assassinated by guerilla soldiers, forcing German troops in Italy to surrender. Adolf Hitler committed suicide in Berlin on April 30. On May 8, 1945, Germany surrendered.

WW2 is one of the deadliest military conflicts in human history, this war almost affected the entire globe ! 

This war mostly affected innocenet citizens lives,millions of innocent citizens were killed during attacks,battles,bombings,etc.

Not only did a lot of citizens die, but a ton of soldiers died in the war too. 

Now this war did not just have lots casualties and deaths, this war affected society, it affected the whole world in many different ways.

After WW2 wars have mostly been civil, and developed countries have not fought each other .

East and west Germany were divided, as was berlin.

Germany and Italy partitioned Yugoslavia into Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Herzegovina in 1941.

The Korean War erupted as a result between the division of North and South Korea. The war triggered a four-year civil war in China, which paved the way for communism to gain power.

The Bengal Famine sparked an uprising in India, which led to the country's independence from the United Kingdom. The occupation of the Dutch East Indies by Japan resulted in the establishment of Indonesia.
