I really do like his work, it is very detailed and he manages to bring our attention to the main focus, which is of a man. The background is light and the actual person is dark. Which drags our focus to the man, creating a depth in the photography.

Frank works in balck and white, creating his images using film. Due to his era, film was a popular photography utensil and creates an old style image. His work is very mature and focusses mainly on one to two figures. The backgrounds are simple, like streets with things like cars and trucks behind.

Steele- Perkins,is a very old school artist in the way he works. The shot of multiple people dancing shows how he is very good and composing photos and getting quality positions in the moment. He works in black and white, which creates a mood in the photo. The background is dark which allows attention to be on other things like the people dancing. His style is very classy and the staging of the photograph is very well structured.

“Ritty Tacsum (b.1990) is a Malta-based experimental photographer and multimedia artist with a predisposition for multi-layered stories and narratives.”

Her work interests me, as the way she uses the layering to create a story is very unique. In all of her work you can see a very clear narrative and where each idea of hers has come from and how she has combined it.

This type of photography inspires me as the way she uses simple things like buildings to create a deeper story is very skilled.

Aswell as the other photographers who use the exposure technique his backgrounds are white, this allows the focus to be the centre image.
