1 Singapore is strategically located along a major maritime trade route connecting India and Europe to China. This gives us a significant advantage, as it allows the development of a world-class port that can attracts ships from around the world. That is why Singapore is able to increase trade, by establishing itself as a global hub for commerce and shipping.

2 If the maritime trade industry is badly affected, I think a lot of trade will not be able to reach Singapore and a huge portion of our economy will be severely strained. Many consumer products that I use from day to day will not be able to reach me and my quality of life would decrease

It was surprising that a vessel can contain so many containers and the containers were alot smaller then i expected. I learnt that the tuas port is also mostly automated which could improve the efficiency of how these ports work by alot too
