A couple of pointers (from Sara!): 1. If you are using an iPhone to join a meeting and you need to adjust how ‘zoomed in’ your picture is, you can do that in Safari by tapping on the aA, beside the URL bar. 2. If you get distracted by something and click out of the meeting, then try to go back in, you may not be as connected as possible. Simply click the hang up button and go rejoin the call.

AdraCare Customer Support staff received a number of questions over the course of Friday, June 11. Based on this, here are some pointers they offered: over the course of the day: (1) After activating your account, to login please go to - https://ddsb.adracare.com/ (we recommend bookmarking this link for easy access in the future) (2) The "New Student" button is only meant to be used for creating the student profile. Please ensure you are not using this feature to create a profile for school staff. (3) All school staff with confirmed licenses have been already created in the system. Additional staff will be added in the coming days as we receive the confirmed list (4) If a family has multiple caretakers that need to be present in an appointment, the email address of the additional caretakers will need to be added when booking the appointment as a "Guest" (5)If the student will be using the parent's email address, use one parent's email address as the main email address. This is where they will receive notifications on the booked appointments. The second parent can be invited to the appointment as a guest by inputting their email • When creating a "New Student", please ensure you are inputting the student's information. Please do not use the parent's information. Parent information can be added under the student's Contact Information > Emergency contact/ caretaker (6) If DDSB staff A is creating the appointment for a student and wants to book DDSB staff B into the appointment and cannot find them in the system, they must add DDSB staff B as a "guest "by entering their email address • DDSB staff B will receive an email confirmation with a link and access code to join the session as a "guest". The email will also contain a downloadable attachment which can be added to your personal calendar in the ddsb email

Currently, as it stands, if a DDSB staff is creating the appointment and wants to invite another DDSB staff to the appointment, the 2nd DDSB staff will be added as a guest even if they have a license in on our system. What this means is the 2nd teacher will receive an email notification for the booked appointment but because they are added as a guest, this appointment will not show up on their Adracare platform calendar. This is done to safeguard the privacy of student information (DDSB staff cannot see students' information outside of their care and cannot see other staff's calendar on Adracare).

If a DDSB staff would like to invite another DDSB staff as a school contact (and therefore have the appointment show up on both calendars in Adracare platform), this appointment must be booked via clerical staff who belong to the same location as both DDSB staff. Clerical Staff are currently the only ones who have access to all DDSB staff and the staff's students at their corresponding school.

From AdraCare:

(They) have been getting a couple of questions over support chat about inputting a "New Student" into the system. The confusion stems from if staff are to enter the parent's name+their info or the student's name+their info when creating a "New Student". Can you confirm and share internally that staff are to use the student's name for the account creation and that parents are added to appointments by entering their email address only.

If your "guest" doesn't get their email, you cannot just forward them the meeting code/email that you received or they will show up as you... And then you won't be seen or heard and nor will they. But you can chat to each other as yourself. Hang up and check their email address and re-send.

I was told this was an issue that "hardly ever happens" on their platform, but wanted to share in case it has been that kind of day for anyone else.
Also - this "hard refresh" solution seems to be a common one to other issues, such as uploading reports. It will always bump you out, though, so be mindful of this.
