We learned that costa rica has a very big history when it comes to ecology. For example, there was a lot of damage to the environment due to mining in large numbers. This caused a large part of the rainforest to be cut down. This had many consequences. Costa Rica is now well on its way to solving this by replanting the rainforest. They have gone from 30% to 50% rainforest.

Subject
We think that the chosen subject, pesticides, is a much bigger subject than what we had previously thought. We have learned what pesticide contains and what its consequences are. Because we had not often heard about this, we were very surprised. We have learned that people around the world live in very different ways. What is normal for us is very strange for someone else. For example, we in the Netherlands are on average very well off financially, which means we can do a lot.
